About Thomas Laermans

I started my career in consulting implementing digitalisation and outsourcing projects, which often involved tackling strategic matters to ensure successful delivery. I organically gravitated toward strategy work after that. Over the past years, I have supported management teams with strategy analysis, definition, and planning, and I feel fortunate to have done so for some of Belgium’s largest and well-known retail and financial services brands, including Colruyt, OKay, Bioplanet, BNP Paribas Fortis, and Ethias. This experience has allowed me to develop a skill set in strategy diagnosis, development, planning and roadmapping, program and initiative definition, portfolio management, and enterprise architecture. Currently, I am focused on strategy development for the Sustainability domain at Colruyt Group.
