About Thomas Lewinsky

I get particularly drawn towards organisational complexity or sticky situations, where the solutions are not that immediately obvious at a first glance, and which may therefore require other interventions than business-as-usual. I am comfortable with challenging the status quo of organisations, which are searching for a new purpose, direction and traction, and to help them getting there. I provide advisory and governance support to a range of international NGOs, networks and alliances primarily within the humanitarian sector, as well as voluntary standard setting organisations. My core areas include strategy and change, governance, network development, systems analysis, process improvement, quality assurance, and capacity assessments. I specialise in multi-stakeholder consultation processes, bringing together a variety of apparent conflicting views and perspectives for collective decision-making and concerted action at governance and executive management level. I also offer individual leadership and team coaching and I apply organisational and personal constellation thinking in my approaches to ensure a good connection between what is known, what is not yet known, and what is emergent within your organisation.
