Proof and Audit • Manage a team responsible for the preparation of monthly and semi-annual audit schedules and supplemental proofs used in the completion of fund financial statements and other regulatory reports. • Work closely with internal and external financial reporting and fund accounting teams as well as with clients and independent fund auditors to assist in the resolution of audit questions. • Manage workflow within the team and align resources accordingly to meet deadlines. • Successfully managed the conversions of several large clients into our team and while ensuring proofs accurately reflected data from pre conversion (internal and external) systems and post conversion accounting system to properly reflect for the financial statements. NAV Operations • Worked on task force tasked to develop the defined workflow for the Eagle Operating Model to be used across the organization. • Key contributor in restructuring and implementing the Daily Accounting Checklist and SOC1 for the new Eagle Accounting System by identifying areas of risk within the current model and areas that lacked proper detail • Implemented new daily review procedures in accordance with the Daily Accounting Checklist that align with the new Eagle Operating Model to maximize efficiencies which has allowed us to better manage clients Funds and needs while enduring reduced staff levels. • Point person from NAV Operations for assistance with the Eagle Accounting System for other managers and directors across four sites.(Westborough, MA/Wilmington, DE/King of Prussia, PA/Lake Mary, FL) • Worked in a consulting role in other NAV Operations management teams to review the current procedures and offered recommendations to create efficiencies and alleviate time management issues within teams as well as assisting with developing plans for offshore transition of activities. • Managed team responsible for training during Offshore Transition of daily responsibilities to Chennai, India
