About Thomas Lindquist

I am a Senior Chief Product and Technology Officer with more than 35 years of experience in the telecom and IT industry. Throughout my carrier, I have been a key driver for "what is coming next", as CTO, Product or Project manager some times with P&L responsibility. For the last 10 years my focus has been the cloud and aaS paradigm within the telecom industry. I am known as a creative product and technology leader with a project manager personality. A problem solver, skilled in grasping the big picture and digging into details when necessary. I have experience as a line manager, main project manager, product, and technology lead for large product development projects. For seven years I held as a consultant, the position of CTO of VoerEir, this position included also product management responsibility for VoerEir's complete product portfolio. VoerEir was founded in 2015 with the task of helping telecom operators and Telecom vendors to succeed with their cloud transformation. I still hold a position as advisor to the CEO of VoerEir. In parallel with the above CTO position, I worked as a consultant for 1.5 years as a technology responsible (CTO) for Ericsson's "as a Service" venture. Before that I was employed by Ericsson for 30 years on a multitude of positions. The last one was as product management responsible for Ericssons cloud infrastructure solution, the most successful cloud infrastructure for telecom operators on the market. I took that position after I had been system management responsible that the initial development of that solution. Other highlights in my career includes. P&L responsible for Ericsson InGame venture. Total project manager for Ericsson 3G project incl, radio, core and service networks as well as mobile phones. In the late nineties I hade my first P&L responsibility running Ericsson ATM switch product unit.
