About Thomas Lovelock

I am a Doctor of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences with a strong focus on sustainability applied to business models, particularly in relation to corporate sustainability strategies and ESG criteria. In recent years, I have specialized in this field through advanced academic and professional experiences. I completed a high-specialization course in Lisbon titled “Sustainability and Digitization in Key: Enterprise 5.0,” where I gained solid training in the legal framework of sustainability, including environmental, social, and ethical certifications. This program equipped me with the skills to understand and evaluate the dynamics and impacts of climate change, with a particular interest in climate action and energy transition strategies. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have explored the legal relevance of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and applied the core principles of the circular economy by actively engaging stakeholders in various projects. Currently, I work as a part-time Sustainability Specialist at Crisel, an Italian Aerospace & Defense company, where I support the drafting of the sustainability report and collaborate with my team to develop innovative, sustainable solutions tailored to both the space and defense sectors. In parallel, I am currently enrolled in the International Master in Sustainability and Circular Bioeconomy at Rome Business School, further expanding my skills and vision in sustainable innovation at the global level.
