About Thomas McCroskey

In the course of my legal career, I've developed a strong expertise in all aspects of real estate law. Currently my duties as underwriting counsel involve advising issuing agents in most southeastern States on matters regarding issuance of title insurance policies on residential and commercial real estate transactions. My previous experience as an agent and closing agency manager help me see this industry from the "other side of the fence" as well. My main objective as underwriting counsel is to help my agents get their deals done and issue title insurance acceptable to the insureds while maintaining appropriate levels of underwriting risk for the Company. I truly enjoy the mental challenges and stimulation of this career, and can see myself remaining in this field until retirement. At which point I plan on running a Bed And Breakfast with my wife, fly-fishing, reading, maybe even a bit of writing and, if my daughters cooperate, playing with my grandkids.
