About Thomas McInerney

Always Faithful" is the English translation of the Marine Corps motto,"Semper Fidelis", and one of the primary principles shaping my personal and professional ethics. Faithfulness to duty, to my work, to clients, and to the endless pursuit of excellence in all that I do are first among the traits that I bring to any environment as a military veteran. An experienced leader and mentor, I am proficient in verbal and written communication, teaching and lecturing, motivating team members to excel, and the delegation, supervision, and completion of assigned tasks efficiently and in accordance with procedure. My passion is psychological science, with a focus on mental health counseling and youth mentorship. From my studies in psychology, I have expertise in research design and critique, survey writing, as well as data entry, processing, and analysis, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and statistical software (especially SPSS). I also have experience in scientific writing, technical writing, research proposals, conducting interviews, behavioral analysis and intervention, and record-keeping, having conducted multiple research studies both in group settings and independently as part of my coursework as a psychology major. What I bring to the table does not end with leadership and research skills. My experiences are unique and varied, and I never stop trying to learn new things. I can drive a forklift, direct ground traffic, build a table, and expertly slice a mushroom for topping a pizza. I have a passion for customer satisfaction, wanting nothing but the most favorable outcome for any and all parties in a transaction. I love working with people and helping them get the most out of everything they do. Most importantly, I love the satisfaction of a job well done, and work hard to ensure that every task I undertake is done with the utmost care, precision, and completeness.
