About Thomas Mehofer

I hold a Master of Science (MSc) in Strategy & Technology Management from Danube University Krems (Austria) and bring over two decades of experience in technology leadership, R&D, software development and system architecture within the Air Traffic Management (ATM) industry. I began my professional career as a software engineer in the FREQUENTIS ATM Defense Business Unit and advanced through various roles, including system architect, operational product manager, and development project manager. At FREQUENTIS, I have played a key role in shaping the evolution of ATM voice and network solutions, overseeing major product developments, and managing large, complex delivery projects worldwide. As Head of R&D, I was instrumental in scaling development organizations, aligning technology with business growth, and driving corporate-wide technology governance. Since 2024, I have been serving as Director OneATM Technology & Portfolio at FREQUENTIS, leading the strategy and development of the ATM product portfolio, advancing portfolio integration, and overseeing architecture and technology evolution to ensure high-performing, innovative end-to-end solutions.
