About Thomas Mettle

My electrical works started with Amalgamated Design during my internship at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA). They were the consultants for the expansion of the old site in 2015. During that period i learnt the basics of AutoCAD and reading electrical designs. During my second internship with Amandi Holdings Ltd at Ridge, Accra, I hade a practical experience of all that i learnt at KIA which includes reading the electrical plan to know where to put sockets and switches before the concrete works are being done. i also passed cables through pipes or cable trays and terminating sockets and switches. I then had my National service with True Power Electrical Engineering Ltd, who deals with generators, motors and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS). I currently work with Soccabet as an Electrical Technician. I mostly work on our UPS across the country but also join the electrical team for routine maintenance when the need arises.
