Hands-on experience in the complete vehicle life cycle from concept through aging fleet & product sustainment. Experienced in FAA certification under 14 CFR Part 23 & 25 as well as experienced working with military programs. Consultant DER for Mechanical Systems Flight Controls (23/25), Hydraulics (23/25), and Powerplant (23/25). Recently added Management DER to the list of FAA Delegations. Previously a ODA/UM for Mechanicals Systems Flight Controls for Cessna. Previously a DOA/AR for Beechcraft in Mechanical systems. Previously an engineering manager with a staff of supervisors, ODA-UM’s, and Principle Engineers. Experienced in project engineering and management including PLM, multi-disciplinary interaction, and project leadership. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Able to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently from concept to delivery. Also active with supporting industry and national policy on SAE ARP 4754A, 4761A through the SAE S-18 Committee. Also active in experimental aircraft, specifically amateur built aircraft. Established an FAA Parts Manufacturing Authorization (PMA). First publication: Composite Construction for Beginners, 2009.
