About Thomas Mitchell

I am a graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Sociology. I currently work at the Ford Motor Company under contract through Cognizant where my responsibilities include managing catalyst and vehicle inventory, ensuring the team has full useful life cataysts available to conduct their FE testing, and other tasks to help aid in the FE process. Previously I worked at Excel Engineering as a Project Engineer. In that role I was responsible for data analysis, customer communication, engine and test cell maintenance, and programming tests in both Horiba STARS and Cyflex. In my personal time I enjoy repairing and modifying cars, working with tech, making things, and music. Some past personal projects include designing and printing a license plate bracket for my motorcycle, writing a program for racing games that makes it easy to budget how much to spend upgrading a car based on a percentage of that vehicles winnings, and working on my VW and Audi to keep them running and avoiding shop labor rates
