Located in Morristown, New Jersey, the Murphy Law Firm LLC is focused on issues confronting our aging loved ones. We help families navigate through funding the cost of care, government benefits, veteran benefits, guardianship, special needs trusts and estate administration. Tom is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and certified by the Veteran's Administration to assist veterans in obtaining needed long term benefits.Tom has become a leading authority on Veteran's Aid and Attendance Pension Benefits. His work experience combines working for several prominent law firms in Morris and Somerset Counties and various major corporations based in New Jersey. Tom is very active in his community. He held leadership positions with the Morris County Care Givers Coalition, Family Services of Morris County, New Jersey Alzheimer's Association, the Guardianship Association of New Jersey and a past board member of of the New Jersey Foundation for the Blind. Tom is a Fellow of the New Jersey Partnership for Leadership, has chaired the Core Curriculum Commission for the New Jersey Department of Education, and has served as a member of the Morris School District Board of Education. He has been an Adjunct Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, has chaired the Warren County Business Alliance, and served as the first president of the Warren County Human Relations Commission. Tom is an avid hockey goalie and marathon runner. He and his wife Sharon live in Mendham, New Jersey.
