About Thomas Ness

I am currently in my 4th year as a marketing major at the University of Guelph. After performing as a sales representative for a charity event in my victory lap of high school, my educational focus shifted to promotion and marketing, specifically selling sustainable business practices. I excel in producing effective, creative, promotional projects while working in a collaborative environment. Having grown up in Guelph, I have always had an interest in seeing the globalization and expansion of the local companies that I know and love. I always knew I would study at the University of Guelph, as I completed countless volunteer hours acting as a camp counsellor and spent 5 summers playing for the rep football team. The time I spent so close to campus developed a personal connection not only to the school, but to the city. My five-year plan includes receiving my bachelor's degree and becoming a project manager for one of the many small-businesses in the city that are promoting sustainable business.
