About Thomas Pfanner

I'm a very (!) enthusiastic and team-oriented project manager with 5+ years of experience in the arts, non-profit and public sector. My expertise is in managing complex projects with competing goal prescriptions and diverse stakeholders. In my previous positions I had the chance to work on forward looking topics, such as producing new concert designs in classical music, developing Austria's first municipal policy for the acceptance of gender and sexual diversity, or supporting research to prevent conversion therapy in Germany. I'm driven by community. That's why I've founded multiple cultural initiatives to strengthen the communities I've been part of. No matter if the queer film series in Vorarlberg, the open stage #something at Karlshochschule or the storytelling campaign Mission Pride: It fills me with joy to see how these initiatives grow and thrive after many years.
