About Thomas Pollock

With a passion for town planning, real estate and law, I have spent my most recent years furthering my understanding of these disciplines at the University of Melbourne. During this time, I graduated with a Bachelor of Design, double majoring in Urban Planning and Property. More recently I have commenced a Juris Doctor (post-graduate law) degree, expanding upon on my underlying passion for the law and reform within Australia's justice system. Outside of my tertiary education, I have held various positions involved in property and construction law. Currently, I work as a Paralegal for Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW) and have received exposure to an array of international construction law matters involving companies such as Mammoet, Daewoo, and Craft. I have learnt the importance of valuing procedure, teamwork and communication within the workplace. Where I can, I coach and play in various hockey teams around Victoria. This passion lies with my previous roles as a Hockey Coach and Premier League hockey player in Melbourne. Furthermore, I also involve myself in co-curricular activities around University of Melbourne, forming relationships with students and providing a positive attitude to various newcomers. These varied experiences have enabled me to have a strong appreciation for hard work and a good life balance.
