Though I’m a litigator by training, I believe litigation should be a last resort. It's always better for my clients to spend their efforts, resources and time on transactional matters that lead to economic growth for them and their businesses. My goal is to keep clients out of the courtroom and in the boardroom. To that end, I educate clients, their in-house counsel and other professionals on risk management and litigation avoidance. Where necessary, though, I litigate and manage nationwide complex commercial litigation for companies ranging from Fortune 100 companies to family-owned businesses. I’ve worked with clients in many industries including banking, commercial real estate, construction, employment and labor, government contracts, insurance, professional services and technology. In addition to my role as co-chair of Burns & Levinson’s Business Litigation & Dispute Group, I am also a member of the firm’s Pro Bono/Community Engagement Committee and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
