About Thomas Ricks

Hello! I am a Senior at Boise State University, working towards a degree in Computer Science, with an emphasis in Machine learning. I love computer science and solving problems using computer programming! My relevant experience includes software development and other internships, positions as teaching assistants for Computer Science and Electrical Engineering courses at BSU, tutoring math at Mathnasium, and the personal programming projects I've done for enjoyment, the most significant of which have been making a generalized two-player game learning AI, and a rudimentary 3D rendering engine from scratch. My forte is in Object-Oriented Programming; I have experience in Java and C++. I have also worked with C, Google Sheets, and Python, as well as some basic HTML, Javascript, and functional programming. I am excited and open to learning any programming languages, paradigms, and skills necessary to fulfill problem-solving responsibilities!
