If you're wondering what is so "Special" about "Special Projects", unfortunately, the answer isn't as special as you might think."Special Projects" is really just a blanket term to describe things that people don’t want to do, don’t have time to do, or don’t know how to do. And if there’s anything I’ve learned from my two years assisting with Special Projects in Higher Education, it’s that if somebody doesn’t want to do something, doesn’t have time to do something, or doesn’t know how to do something, there is probably a better way to do it in the first place. I pride myself on being a hard-working, dedicated and detail-oriented individual, and I will never shy away from a challenge when it comes to process improvement. I have a proven track record of maximizing efficiency in the face of limited resources, and I strive each and every day to not only make something easier for myself, but to help others make something easier for themselves too. As I embark on a new adventure in the Non-Profit industry, I am excited to bring these skills with me while I work to engage and empower local students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math through FIRST Robotics in Rhode Island.
