Tom is a Chartered Architect and has been responsible for a variety of projects throughout the UK and in all of Pearce Bottomley Architects’ active sectors including historic buildings, healthcare, domestic, housing, education, community and commercial. Tom brings a pragmatic and creative approach to the design, detailing and production of buildings. Recent achievements include: Project Architect for Bolton Abbey's Tithe Barn - A Cripps Barn wedding venue, winner of RIBA regional and RICS National Awards. Project Architect for the substantial refurbishment and extension of a complex of farm buildings subject to four separate EH list entries (Grade II) located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for a private client. Responsible for the detail design and working drawings for St Georges Crypt part of the Grade II listed Church in Leeds – a sensitive addition to the Civic Quarter of Leeds and winner of Leeds Architecture Awards 2011 in two categories, runner up to the EASA President’s Medal and Highly Commended in the 2012 RICS Pro Yorkshire Awards.
