With 15+ years in retail sales and Management, I have dedicated my career to improving my craft and developing highly motivated sales team around me. By analyzing data and creating different strategies to effectively increase sales and grow business year over year. I'm a very quick learner with a drive to always get the best out of myself and the people around me. Through training and performance management, I have a proven track record of maximizing individuals' potential. At my first retail job at Circuit City as a Tech Supervisor, I was able to decrease computer repair turn around from 14 days to 48 hours by analyzing the system that was being used, I was able to train my team to optimize for efficiency, which in turn created more opportunities to increasing sales. As a Sales Manager at Tiger Direct, I was able to acquire and train sales professionals to perform at a high level. Through performance management, I was able to increase sales and become the highest performing store in our district. While an Assistant Store Manager at Sears Outlet, I was able to motivate a small group of individuals to generate more business by training on products and showing sales techniques to increase ticket averages, which in turn took a store rank last out of 500 stores to the top10 in the nation within one quarter. As a Area Manager at Mattress Firm, I was able to learn and maximize my talent on a bigger scale by delivering trainings and WebEx meetings to meet company goals. Also, I was able to create new tools that helped increase sales and eventually these tools were used nationally throughout the company. I'm passionate on creating different techniques of helping an organization acquire and maintain customer. Through my out of the box thinking and caring of growth of others, I've been successful in fostering team first environment and always wanting to be the best. I love helping connecting with my external and internal guest and creating one of a kind experience. I'm an adventurous outdoors person who is always open to new opportunities.
