About Thomas Schalk

Tom joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 1998. He leads a team of six dedicated professionals focused on organizing, coordinating and managing all aspects of their clients' financial lives. The team utilizes a detailed planning and wealth management process to help their clients streamline the complexities and capitalize on the opportunities of substantial wealth. Prior to joining Merrill, Tom spent four years at D.H. Blair, helping Biotechnology companies raise early stage financing. Tom has significant planning and investment experience specific to the needs of senior executives of public and private companies, hedge fund managers, private equity managers, investment bankers, business owners and professionals. Tom holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation, which is issued through The College for Financial Planning Institutes Corp. Tom attended Pace University in NYC, and is active in the Fontbonne Hall Academy High School parent association.
