About Thomas Schatt
My passion is automation, I began as an automation engineer and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in systems engineering. Due to my great interest in robotics I finished the robotics system and control master at ETH Zürich. My industrial technical experience is manly on PLC programming with ether Ansi C or structured text. As some projects I did a door control system for an atomic plant and made a smoke gas vent for a train tunnel (PLC/HMI) with Siemens, worked on data collection and manipulation with Oracle, SAP MII, and OPC Kepware. Furthermore I progammed a new transfer robot with Beckhoff, TwinCat2 in the automotive industry. As a Teamleader I could collect valuable experience in managing people. Right now I am responsible and developing a brand new machine for the book industry with B&R PLC programmed in Ansi C.
