I am a Catholic therapist who helps individuals, couples & families in pain to experience deep personal & relational healing by using the top faith and evidence-based therapies so that they can live out their unique vocations to love with ever greater peace, holiness, & joy. I have an M.A. in Moral Theology from Holy Apostles College and Seminary and separate the wheat from the chaff when reviewing secular psychological ideas. I was educated by Dominicans and esteem the psychological thought of St. Thomas Aquinas as well as Ignatian spirituality. Regardless of what type of therapy I am doing with a client, I am guided by the psychological thought of Catholic psychiatrists Drs. Conrad Baars and Anna Terruwe. As a Benedictine Oblate, I am inspired by the Rule of St. Benedict. My Oblate name, “John Paul”, reflects my devotion to St. Pope John Paul II and my reliance on the anthropology he laid out in the Theology of the Body. I aim to treat my clients with gentleness, patience, caring, openness, interest, and respect, and to help them unlock their own internal wisdom, that is,"the natural law within", so to speak.
