I’ve always been a bit of a rebel. Growing up in the rural western part of Denmark, I often felt like an outsider. The challenges my family faced shaped me into someone who questions everything—especially the status quo—and isn’t afraid to forge my own path, even if that path doesn’t exactly fit the mould. These experiences instilled in me resilience and a strong sense of independence, which have guided me throughout my life and career. That rebellious spirit has guided me throughout my life and career. I haven’t climbed the traditional corporate ladder, I haven’t spent my time in agencies or high-profile marketing departments. And you know what? I’m good with that. Instead, I’ve built a career and a life that reflects who I am: an introvert, a perfectionist, and someone who thrives on passion and independence—because doing it any other way just wouldn’t be me. Whether it’s my deep love for raw denim or my commitment to family, every decision I’ve made has been driven by a desire to stay true to myself and my values. And that’s not something you can put on a traditional resume. For the past decade, I’ve made my living working for BESTSELLER as a marketing consultant. The freedom and flexibility of consulting have been game-changers, allowing me to work on passion projects like Denimhunters, all while supporting my family and even buying our dream home along the way. While my career might not follow the traditional corporate ladder, the skills I’ve honed over the are valuable and widely applicable. From strategic marketing to content creation, project management, and client relations, I’ve built a toolkit that helps brands and retailers stand out, thrive, and outshine the competition. As a consultant, I’ve worked with leading fashion brands like ONLY and JACK & JONES, where I didn’t just follow the playbook—I helped write it. I developed and executed marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences, managed complex projects, and created compelling content that drives engagement and sales. Whether flying solo or working with a team, my adaptability has allowed me to navigate challenges and consistently deliver results. As my children grow older and become more independent, I’m ready to focus more on my professional journey. The foundation I’ve built—through Denimhunters, my work with BESTSELLER, and my role at home—has prepared me for this next chapter. I’m seeking work that aligns with my values, and where I can make a meaningful impact. And as always, I’ll approach it in my way, with the same rebellious spirit that has guided me so far​.
