How I arrived here, and what I will do for your organization:* My experience working in several warehouses taught me about importing, distribution and inventory.* The inventory skills led me to my next position, where I combined them with accounting and billing and then took a database class for a project with a large client. This was life-changing.* The database knowledge brought me to World Book, Inc. where I further learned SQL, Visual Basic programming, reporting and more. I worked with everyone from executives, accounting, operations and marketing with my background and had great mentors there. I truly enjoyed supporting our large sales team with tech support, ad-hoc reports and helping to build a web-based CRM. I also worked with the ecommerce site front and back end.* I continued to use my tech and accounting skills to help grow a communications business at Gentel, Inc. We installed a network system which expanded capacity greatly.* I also have learned many leadership and personal skills at Temple of Kung Fu helping and teaching thousands of students ages 5-85, again with the mentorship of an excellent teacher. The ability to work hard, to be inspirational, to be relaxed and confident are just a few of the qualities I feel I have gained through my time there. This has been my career path so far, and I am grateful for all of the chances I have had and the people I have worked with. I have always tried to keep moving forward personally and professionally, with patience and persistence.
