Developer of the Wind Turbine Technician Academy with an emphasis on compliance with MI-OSHA and OSHA regulations for the wind industry. Authorized OSHA Outreach trainer for General Industry. Responsible for delivering work force training to entry level service technicians and advising wind farm operators of needed maintenance and repairs on a wide range of wind turbines. Responsible for developing and maintaining training standards for entry level wind turbine technicians using direct feedback from industry leaders in Europe and the Americas. Recognized as an electric/mechanical specialist with extensive experience in job site safety compliance, aerodynamics, electrical systems, power converters, pitch systems, hydraulics, rotating equipment, blade repair, rigging, fastener technology and work at height. Active on two ANSI Standards committees and one ISO Technical Committee as well as the Chair of the Safety Steering Committee of the American Clean Power Association.
