About Thomas Teichman

I started my career with General Mills as a production operator. I was quickly selected by my teammates as team leader. I have worked in this role for several production lines throughout the plant. In this role I’ve been responsible for ensuring that our production team meets our production goals. I was responsible for assigning team members to individual tasks. I had to work with management to ensure that production goals could be meet in a safe efficient way. I was also responsible for keeping accurate records of employees attendance. Sometimes having to issue corrective actions. I was responsible for conducting team meeting. I would often have to serve as mediator between two teammates. I was selected to several project teams throughout my career. On these teams I would work with production, controls, and quality engineers to plan new production equipment. I would have to creat new training documentation and present this information to the production teams. I would then have to train production operators how to use the new equipment. I’ve served several roles in my career. All in production. I’m happy with how my career has progressed. I feel I’ve been given the opportunity to learn and grow. I’ve developed skills that I believe can carry over into other professions. I can learn and adapt pretty quickly. I’m always ready to learn and develop new skills. I’m open to seeing what other opportunities are out there.
