About Thomas Thompson

Great Communication comes with Listening. In my last semester at Conestoga College I joined Sales Lab and participating in this I have come to learn the tremendous effect that empathy and active listening. The foundation of sales is taking to the time not only to learn about your prospect or client, but to empathize with their needs. This way we can ask the right questions to understand a problem and work together to find solutions. One of my strongest assets, whether it in the workplace, the classroom, or in my daily life is to make people feel welcomed, valued and accepted for who they are. One of my proudest achievements in my life is when a colleague told me that when we worked together they always felt that our collaboration brought out the best in them. My other core values are patience and persistence. The goals and tasks that define our careers and our lives do not happen overnight. It can months and years to achieve them. All through out my life I have continually strove to learn and improve my talents, abilities and character regardless of setbacks and obstacles.
