About Thomas Vet

As a Special Forces Communications Sergeant with over a decade of experience, I specialize in building and securing communication systems that perform under the most demanding conditions. I've led training and curriculum development at the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, where I trained future Special Forces Communicators in tactical radios, satellite systems, network operations, and cybersecurity fundamentals. My technical background includes hands-on expertise with Linux (Kali, CompTIA Linux+), Windows, Active Directory, Azure Cloud, and cybersecurity tools. I hold multiple industry-recognized certifications including CASP+, PenTest+, CySA+, Security+, Network+, and Cloud+. What sets me apart is the ability to blend battlefield-tested leadership with modern IT and cybersecurity practices. Whether it's mentoring instructors, hardening networks, or ensuring comms resilience in denied environments—I bring adaptability, integrity, and technical depth to every mission or project. I’m actively exploring opportunities where I can continue to lead, secure, and innovate—especially in cybersecurity, systems engineering, or mission-critical communications roles in the defense or private sector.
