As the Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Relations Director of Evonik Industries AG, I, along with my fellow board members, am responsible for employees in over 100 countries. Our goal? To create optimal conditions that not only strengthen our competitiveness but also prioritize the well-being of our most valuable asset—our employees. Sustainability is at the heart of our purpose: “Leading beyond chemistry to improve life, today and tomorrow.” Between 2021 and 2030, we plan to invest over 3 billion euros in the growth of our Next Generation Solutions and 700 million euros in Next Generation Technologies.
