About Thomas Williamson

As an Applied Mathematics major with minors in Economics and Physics at Fordham University, people often assume I’m some kind of "academic robot." While I take pride in my rigorous STEM coursework and my love of reading to challenge myself, my most meaningful growth has come outside the classroom. I believe that I can make the strongest impact beyond an academic setting, and it is this mindset that has pushed me beyond my comfort zone to explore opportunities such as studying abroad at Fordham’s London campus, hosting an international exchange student in high school, coaching a youth soccer team, or stepping into client-facing roles as a host, a server, and now a sales and marketing intern. While I enjoy solving complex problems, I believe my greatest strength lies in something increasingly rare in today’s digital world: genuine human connection. My career goals reflect this belief, as I pursue opportunities that blend analytical thinking with interpersonal engagement.
