About Thomas Worth

I am a real estate developer and urban planner with 12 years of experience. I began by managing smaller projects working for other owners, but slowly transitioned into managing my own small to mid-sized projects. I am currently vice president of development for the northeast office of a national development firm, working on projects of a much greater scale. I enjoy that there is a great deal to learn on every new project, and am eager to engage with the challenges that come with them. However, in the longer term, I am hoping to strike a better balance between the ability to make time for and engage with the initial conception and design process for projects, where I was able to add a lot of value on smaller developments, and the primary focus on investment returns which has come with my work on larger projects. Surely there is a place which cares as much about creating great neighborhoods as generating great returns, and knows that the two are not mutually exclusive.
