About Thomas Wright

Mr. Wright is a PMP-certified program manager with over 27 years of professional experience to include 23 years either working for or supporting the Federal government. He received his MBA with honors from George Washington University focusing on IT and finance. He has a track record of increasing responsibility and now currently serves as the Deputy Program Manager for SAIC’s Program Support Services (PSS) contract with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). His experience includes project and portfolio management, enterprise architecture, and IT investment management. He coauthored GAO’s Information Technology Investment Management (ITIM) framework (GAO-04-394G) that is used across the Federal government for assessing and improving IT investment maturity. He has additional experience in systems engineering, strategic planning, financial and organizational analysis, budget forecasting, business process improvement, scheduling, program control, subcontract management, business development, and capture and proposal development. He has developed effective communication skills within his teams and among clients to facilitate timely and quality delivery across multiple tasks.
