Background
About Thord Nilsson
I have been working in agile environments since mid in many different roles; developer, architect, tester, scrum master, PO, BA. The later years my focus has been on the "administrative" side of agile and the task of making other people more effective, stand in the way of unnecessary obstacles and make the teams less vulnerable to change. I may not be the standard scrum master when it comes to preaching the agile manifesto, to me it is just a base to have in mind when trying to solve the real life situations. I am also not very fond of the passive "scrum master" that claims that she/he is just some sort of conductor, I like to actively work for changes in the areas where I can help in my role as a scrum master. But, the members in the teams I have been in seems to like that way of working while at the same time producing very good results. And after all, that is what is important.
