About Thorsten Baecker

He completed his civil engineering course of at the Beuth Hochschule für Technik (ex TFH) West Berlin, where he graduates with success in 1992. In the same year his private life calls him in Milan where he works for Thyseen Hünnebeck Italia SpA as Project Engineer – CAD for design of formworks systems of scaffoldings and special systems for pylons, viaducts and dams, and as site supervisor in Italy and in Germany. In 1994 he started collaboration with Claudio Caresia and Lorenzo Baroni as Plan Studio, an associate study. This is followed by years of "cross-border" activity for major Italian companies on construction sites in Germany, in Berlin, Frankfurt / Oder, Munich and Leipzig. In the three partners founded Plan Srl, design and consulting Company. Thorsten exploits his technical and linguistic skills by creating the German Desk, a section of Plan that has become over the years one of the main features of the firm, specialized in designing and technical consulting for German, Swiss and Austrian customers. Tireless networker and mediator between cultures, he is now member of several German circles in Italy, collaborates steadily with the German Chamber of Commerce and the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in Italy and is a member of VDI Italia. Since 2017 he is CEO of Plan srl.
