About Thulile Mbuthuma

I am a DevOps developer at Hollard Insurance. My responsibility has been making reports using PowerBI and building a multi platform app using.Net MAUI while following coding best practices. I developed a passion for software development mainly because of the huge role it plays in solving business problems.I am particularly intrigued by the problem-solving aspect of the career. The prospect of working toward technological societal and business solutions drew me to this career path. Even in the coding itself, I enjoy the aspect of breaking down problems into smaller pieces and using trial and error to find solutions. To achieve my goal of becoming a developer, I have completed several online bootcamps which includes backend course, Frontend course, Java course and Full stack course.I’m currently completing a System Development learnership at MindWorx Academy. I am equipped with knowledge in Accounting, Tax, Management Accounting and Auditing that I gained doing my Bcom Accounting degree and working in the Service Delivery Center as an audit support associate at PwC. I’m also equipped with a range of soft skills gained during my academic career and my past work experiences.
