Hola, Let me introduce myself: My name is Thurell Tchana, I am of Cameroonian origin and I work as an actuarial associate at Sun Life since September 2023. After a stint in the Universal Life Valuation team, I am currently in the ALM Equity Guarantees team. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Mathematics at Concordia University (Montreal) where I had the opportunity to complete multiple internships and actuarial exams. Driven by my strong interest in networking and my desire to get involved in student life during my academic journey, I was led to become the Convention Chair of the Actuarial Students National Association (ASNA) and the Academic Vice-President of the Mathematics, Actuarial and Statistics Students' Association (MASSA). Being in these associations gave me the chance to be part of collectives full of ambitious and hardworking students.
