About Thy Nguyen

Thy is a Vietnamese architect based in Winnipeg, currently working at Number TEN Architectural Group and completing her pathway toward architectural licensure in Manitoba. Her work in Canada has been recognized nationally and internationally — earning the AIA Medal for the highest GPA, First Prize in the AIA Canada Student Design Awards, and a finalist placement for the GROHE Water Prize at the World Architecture Festival 2025. Within 2 years of Master's studies, she has also received eight academic scholarships for excellence and leadership in architectural design. Before relocating to Canada, Thy built nine years of professional experience in Vietnam, leading large-scale hospitality and residential projects in Vietnam, the US and Asia-Pacific. With more than eleven years of BIM practice in Revit and BIM 360, she is known for her ability to bridge design quality with technical precision and coordination efficiency. Her expertise spans architectural and urban design, sustainable practices, project management, and BIM training, reflecting a commitment to creating thoughtful, resilient spaces that connect people, place, and culture.
