About Thy Vu
Speech-language pathology is a field that I am so deeply passionate about! As a first-generation Vietnamese-American, I feel strongly about working to increase cultural competency and humility in SLP providers, making speech and language services more directly accessible to multicultural families. Similarly, one of my goals as an SLP is to encourage bilingualism and to educate families against common language development misconceptions. Bilingualism does not cause a language delay! I center my therapy practices around neurodiversity-affirming approaches, creating a safe space for my clients to learn in ways that are most comfortable for them.
