About Thyago Hermeto

Currently i'm working at Petrobras Safety and Aviation Department developing safety studies regarding to infrastructure and air transportation. One of our department responsabilities is to stablish RPA policies and projects, such as: the use of drones on environmental monitoring, cargo transportation and pipes monitoring. I'm head of a Iniciative that is evaluating the use of RPA solutions for long distances (cargo and environmental monitoring) Another amazing project that our department is participating with DECEA, CINDACTA II and Air taxi companies is the CNS-ATM for Santos Basin, called PFF008 Santos Basin Phase. Our department is leading this project on Petrobras side. I had a honnor to achieve Master Degree in Aeronautical Infrastructure at ITA, with emphasis on air traffic management and air traffic capacity, aircraft dedicated to offshore activity. As logistics projector coordinator worked developing airport infrastructure project management for the Petrobras (the unit of Logistics), as well as participation in studies of demand and capacity of airfields. I had a great opportunity to work as an operator platform at PRA-1 offshore platform (2005-2008). I would like to thank all my offshore brothers for that period. Before Petrobras i already worked, as a civil engineer, in a neighboor redesign project in Inhoaíba (RJ).
