About Tia Flint

I class myself as a highly skilled individual, I have been working within the education sector for the past sixteen years, giving myself strong grounding within the industry. I have worked directly with school age children (4-16) as a teaching assistant, learning mentor and pupil referral unit manager. Along the way I obtained a long-lived career path in the delivery of early years and educational development courses within the childcare further education sector, teaching directly to post 16 students. Within my roles I established great working relationships with students’ co-workers, employers, parents and carers and agencies. As much as I thrive working in a team, I work well within fast paced environments and have the ability to work independently managing my own caseload in order for successful work delivery and deadlines to be met. I am an extremely organised individual in both my work and home life and have a proactive attitude for life in general. Having worked in very diverse environments with students, children and adults with needs that vary, I have full awareness of the importance and need to adapt to meet the needs of others and with changing circumstances. Within my roles I have been responsible for creating plans for delivery which has led to myself being fully IT literate and having knowledge and experience of all Microsoft packages. Due to the delivery of childcare qualifications for the last 10 years, I am very aware of the ever-changing guidelines within Ofsted, safeguarding, health and safety and data protection. I feel this gives me a head start within potential new roles.
