Background

About Tia S.

I grew up in a small town in California but I've been to 5/7 continents. All the travels help with my lifelong learner mentality. I have over ten years of experience in human resources, five years of law enforcement, and a jack of all trades but master of some that has worked across the US and Germany too. My education focuses in Justice Studies and Organizational development, psychology, performance and leadership. I like to see the why and how of things and see if I can make each part of the process 1% better everyday so that eventually, that 1% will have exponential results. In my spare time I volunteer in various capacities in areas of childhood education, environmentalism, and animal welfare. I enjoy the outdoors by means of hiking with the family and the family dog, and running. Things you'll love about me- I'll make your organization better via research and appropriate interventions, honest to a fault, and I am always willing to help even if it isn't my normal trade. Things you'll hate about me- I'll push to make changes that are data driven and others may not be ready for, low tolerance for poor manners, and a poker face that occasionally looks lethal but really, it is just my face.
