As a Business and Management graduate, I am actively seeking graduate scheme opportunities within the financial industry. I recently had the incredible opportunity to backpack across Southeast Asia and Australia, which allowed me to immerse myself in diverse cultures and experience activities ranging from volunteering with children to skydiving. Now, I’m eager to put my first-class degree to use and begin my career path.I am a highly motivated and confident individual who thrives on building relationships with people and working in a team. I particularly enjoy public speaking and presenting, which stems from my excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Having worked retail jobs alongside my studies, I have obtained organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure. I take a proactive approach in every role, consistently seeking opportunities to improve results. As a mathematics tutor, I developed alternative problem-solving methods for struggling students, resulting in significant grade improvements. At Waitrose, I reduced wastage by effectively delegating tasks to colleagues based on their strengths, ensuring all daily objectives were met.Leadership comes naturally to me, as demonstrated during my time as Head Girl at Sixth Form. I took on numerous responsibilities within this role, including implementing a prefect rota, speaking at public events and organising the Leaving Formal. Through careful financial planning, negotiations with suppliers, and meticulous attention to detail, my team and I successfully sold 200 tickets.
