About Tiejun Wei

As a Research Fellow at UCL and a Faculty Affiliate Researcher at Vector Institute, I apply my expertise in reinforcement learning, molecular dynamics, enhanced sampling, and Markov decision processes to tackle challenging problems in computational biology and chemistry. I have over three years of experience in conducting cutting-edge research and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams of biologists, biophysicists, and computer scientists.My passion is to use state-of-the-art techniques and tools to explore the methylation effect on nucleosomes, the epigenetic regulation of gene expression, and the drug discovery and development process. I have co-authored multiple publications in prestigious journals and presented my findings at international conferences. My goal is to contribute to the advancement of science and innovation in the field of computational biology and chemistry.
