About Tiera Windom

For as long as I can remember I always admired police officers or anyone in the law enforcement field. At a young age, I was hooked on shows like Snapped and Law and Order and people always thought it was odd. Family and friends always told me I would be something in the field. It has always piqued my interest and I'm excited to see where my journey will take me. I am currently studying at Cal State Dominguez Hills and I will be graduating in Spring '23 with a degree in Criminal Justice. I graduated from West Los Angeles College in 2021 with an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice. After I graduate next spring I plan to attend graduate school and plan to study Social Work. I have always been drawn to and felt the need to be an advocate or voice for the voiceless. I am excited to explore this avenue as I feel it will go hand and hand with my criminal justice background. In my current role, I am a Supply Chain Coordinator. I really enjoy this role because it's different for me and I enjoy woking with engineers. My primary role is to kick-start the supply chain process and without me with the process doesn't start. I am responsible for making sure parts are received and sent out in a timely manner. Deadlines are my best friend in this industry and it's one that is always changing.
