About Tierra Stover

Growing up in inner-city Cleveland, I learned that the best way to become a productive member of society was to work in law, medicine, or education. This led me to pursue a career in law. As a law student, I used DNA evidence to advocate for and exonerate wrongfully convicted people. At that point in my career, I truly began to recognize how drastically technology could impact lives. After helping those individuals, I became even more eager to see what other opportunities technology could provide. Eventually, I found my way to software development. One of my first interactions with code was creating a website for a self-produced dramatic film and that is when I fell in love with coding. After deciding to seek formal education, I enrolled in the Java Bootcamp at Tech Elevator. I am looking to connect with a company that will allow me to turn my favorite pastime into a purposeful career in software development that helps people.
