About Tiffani C.

With deep roots in North Vancouver, I feel most fulfilled when I am working amongst my community to support and protect our natural environment. This motivation has led me through 6 years of working in recreational areas such as municipal parks, mountain resorts, conservations reserves as well as closed and protected watersheds. Educated in Forest Health Management, Arboriculture, Tourism & Outdoor Recreation Management with plenty of experience in habitat restoration, horticulture, environmental monitoring, and managing pests and invasive species, forest, trail, and facility maintenance. I've also spent 4 years as a wilderness first responder which has given me tools for leadership, risk management, and operational health and safety. In my free time I am involved with a few organizations: I'm a Director for the North Shore Streamkeepers, trail builder for the NSMBA and District of North Vancouver's invasive species management program. I am mindful of the impact of densifying populations within our natural parkland, and have the tools and experience to plan, develop, coordinate, and implement projects, programs and events to best strengthen our community and local ecology.
