About Tiffani Ross

Growing up, I would dismantle and tinker with every toy and electronic in sight. I have always been interested in understanding how things work the way they do. I recall being so curious how all of those parts were made and how they were engineered and put together. I can’t say I was successfully able to put every toy back together, but I never stopped trying. I learned from those mistakes and used that knowledge for the next item I would experiment with. I have an extremely inquisitive nature and it has enabled me to understand what exists and creatively think of opportunities to reinvent, recreate, and to make things better. Starting my career in Healthcare, I learned all that I possibly could. I read into every lab and every test that was ordered and researched what the doctors were learning from them. What really transpired from this experience was that I learned how passionate I was about learning about people and why they do what they do. After a few promotions within the health system from administrative support to human resources and payroll, I felt like where I was, was meant to be. I was able to utilize my creative mind and social personality to support our employees and to improve processes and productivity. Fast forward a few years into my human resources career, I landed a position that was in HR operations. I worked with an amazing manager who taught me so much regarding systems and the operational side of a global manufacturing company. I felt so interested and motivated to learn more. This experience married together my passion for technology and people. I knew that I wanted to work in a position within human resources that gave me the opportunity to work on processes and systems. Over the past 9 years… I have led 2 successful national HRIS implementations and assisted with 3 successful global re-implementations. I have worked within several different HRIS systems as an administrator and support. I have led a centralization project of several payroll departments into one and managed multi-state payrolls including taxes, deductions, time and attendance, and reporting. As a benefit administrator led companies through contract negotiations with benefit plans and successful transitions, open enrollments, and system set up including file feeds and integrations. Created reports and dashboards with human resources data using system reporting, Excel, Access, Power BI, and Tableau for representation of data for plant level leadership and presentations for executive leadership. tiffani.ross@gmail.com
