Press Release : One Stop Manager for Workforce Area One Southwest Virginia Workforce Area One welcomes Tiffanie Bishop as the new One Stop Manager for the region. Bishop will manage daily operations of the One Stop Workforce Centers located in Planning District 1 and 2, which provides comprehensive workforce development services to jobseekers and businesses located in Buchanan, Dickenson, Lee, Russell, Scott, Tazewell, and Wise County and the City of Norton. Area One Stop Workforce Centers connect visitors to over 15 regional community service workforce agencies and valuable resources to assist jobseekers in finding a career path and provides opportunity for local businesses. This includes the Appalachian One Stop Workforce Center located at the Richlands Business Incubator in Richlands, Virginia, and a One Stop Workforce Center to be located in the Lenowisco Planning District in 2017. Bishop has over 14 years of workforce experience providing career services and employment counseling, and working closely with regional workforce partners. Bishop holds a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Marshall University and currently resides in Richlands, Virginia with her family.
