About Tiffany Alexis

I have a Master's Degree in Health Psychology. Health Psychology is the study of biological processes and how the body functions under stress and in what ways can improvement of health be obtained for individuals. Treatment plans are established to work against obesity, drug addiction, substance abuse and Alcoholism or any other course of treatment that reestablishes health. I have a strong interest in working as an Adjunct Instructor teaching courses in Psychology and working as a Licensed Addictions Counselor. Education, Health, and Addiction Recovery are areas I am passionate about. My previous career consisted of working as a Dental Instructor and teaching the prerequisites for the Dental Assisting Curriculum and any courses pertaining to Dentistry. The areas of Dentistry that I have participated in are Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Pediatrics, Prosthodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry. I am also licensed as an R.D.A. in the state of Louisiana. I am still called on occasion to assist in Oral Surgery, or to help manage the Front Office and handle financial matters pertaining to the Dental Practice. I have also practiced dentistry in the areas listed above for more than 10 years.
